We visited some of the most beautiful lodges, enjoyed spectacular scenery, and marveled at Costa Rica's incredible birds, mammals, reptiles and amphibians. Here are a few "non-bird" images from the trip.

This Three-toed Sloth was right near the main road, causeing quite a traffic jam.
The sloth was carrying a "smiling" baby.
We saw a couple large Green Spiny Lizards at Savegre Lodge.
Common Basilisk, also known as "Jesus lizards" for their ability to run across water, were common at Esquinas Rainforest Lodge.
